Learn how to use all features of the 3D Print Calculator Pro
Welcome to the 3D Print Calculator Pro! This advanced calculator helps you accurately price your 3D prints by considering all costs, materials, and business factors.
Enter the total print time in hours. This is used to calculate electricity costs.
Tip: Use the "Estimate Time" button to automatically calculate based on material weight (approximately 20g per hour).
Set your desired profit margin as a percentage. This determines how much profit you make on top of your costs.
You can use the slider or type directly. Quick buttons are available for common margins.
Select your shipping method. Prices are pre-configured for UK Royal Mail and Evri services.
Choose "Custom" to enter your own shipping price.
This calculator supports multiple materials in a single print, perfect for multi-color prints or prints using different materials for different parts.
Instead of manually entering materials, you can select from your saved Material Library:
Note: The total weight of all materials is displayed at the bottom. Each material's cost is calculated separately and summed together.
Advanced Mode unlocks additional cost factors for professional pricing. Login required to access.

Use Case: Create presets for your most common products (e.g., "Phone Case", "Keychain", "Miniature") and load them quickly when pricing new orders.
Build a library of your materials with prices, vendors, and notes. Makes it easy to select materials when calculating.
Click the "Edit" button (pencil icon) on any material card to update its information.
In the Calculator tab, click "Select from Library" to quickly add materials with their saved prices.
Track how much material you have left. The calculator automatically deducts used material after each calculation.
When you calculate a print, the calculator automatically deducts the material used from your inventory.
Only materials from your Library are tracked. Default materials (PLA, PETG, etc.) need to be added to the library first.
Click "Bulk Add Stock" in the Library tab to quickly manage inventory for multiple materials.
The Analytics Dashboard provides comprehensive insights into your 3D printing business, including revenue tracking, cost analysis, and material usage. You can upload Etsy statements or other CSV files to automatically import sales data.
💡 Tip: Name statements by month/year for easy organization (e.g., "January 2026", "Q1 2026")
Each uploaded statement appears in the "Uploaded Statements" section with an "Included" or "Excluded" button:
Use this to compare different time periods or exclude test data from your reports.
Click the delete button (🗑️) on any statement to remove it and all its calculations. This action cannot be undone, so make sure to export your data first if needed.
